The story behind this design
The flowers are packed edge to edge with almost no ground showing, which is a deliberate choice for a small rectangular object: a sparse pattern would be cropped into fragments at this size, while a dense one reads as a single surface whatever the sleeve dimension. Blues, corals and greens are layered over the black so the darker base shows only in the gaps between petals.
