The story behind this design

The floral drawn for this shirt uses wider gaps between motifs than the other tees in the range, because a garment-dyed ground is uneven by nature and a dense print would fight it. Ink tones were chosen to sit just a shade deeper than the dyed cloth, so the design looks faded into the shirt rather than laid over it. On Banana and Chalky Mint especially, the effect is closer to a sun-bleached souvenir than a new purchase.
