About This Item
Loose floral scribbles cover this DipaliZ hardcover notebook in neutral, low-contrast tones. The drawing style is deliberately unfinished, as though the flowers were sketched quickly in the margin of something else. The book is hardbound with a matte cover and sold in a single size. It suits daily notes, planning and study.

The story behind this design
Scribble is an honest description rather than a modest one. The stems overshoot their flowers, the petals close at slightly the wrong point, and a few lines simply trail off, which is exactly what a hand does when it is thinking rather than illustrating. Keeping the palette to soft taupe, off-white and a pale sage stops the looseness from reading as a mistake and turns it into the point of the cover.
