About This Item
This DipaliZ blanket is a velveteen microfiber throw printed with a floral design. Three sizes are offered, from 40 by 30 up to 80 by 60 inches. The print sits on one face, the reverse is plain. A DipaliZ floral throw is the blanket that ends up on the arm of a sofa rather than folded away in a cupboard.

The story behind this design
Velveteen takes ink differently from woven cloth: the pile catches color and deepens it, so this floral was drawn a shade lighter than it needed to look, letting the fabric do the rest. Flowers are large, because a blanket is mostly seen folded and a small repeat would vanish in the folds. The palette stays within one family so the throw works in a room it was not chosen for.

Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. Avoid fabric softener, which flattens a velveteen pile over time.
