The story behind this design
These are wildflowers rather than garden flowers, so the stems are thin, the heads are small and nothing is arranged. Sprays lean in different directions across the surface, which keeps the pattern feeling picked rather than designed. The palette stays in soft pinks with pale green stems, which is why the blanket reads as gentle in a nursery or a pastel bedroom.
