About This Item
The DipaliZ Vintage Floral Blanket is a velveteen plush throw with a dense garden print. This blanket comes in three sizes, 30 by 40 inch, 50 by 60 inch and 60 by 80 inch. The design fills the whole face with overlapping blooms and foliage in deep green. A dark floral throw reads as furnishing rather than as bedding, which is what makes it work on a chair.

The story behind this design
Nothing in this garden has room around it. Blooms overlap, leaves cross in front of stems, and the ground behind is a green so deep it is nearly black, which is what makes the pale flowers seem lit from within. The arrangement borrows from old chintz, where density was the point and empty space was considered a failure. It is a print that rewards standing close to it.
