The story behind this design
The flowers in this pattern are drawn flat and face-on, with no stems reaching for the light and no sense of up or down. Tulips, daisies and rounder invented blooms scatter at random angles so the rug looks right from any side of the room. Coral and mustard do the loud work while teal leaves cool it down, a color trio that belongs to mid-century tablecloths.
