Flowering Magnolia
About This Item
A magnolia in full flower spreads across this DipaliZ canvas wall art. The piece is a stretched satin canvas print at 1.5 inch depth, available in eight square sizes from 6 by 6 inches to 30 by 30 inches. The deeper stretch gives the canvas a solid shadow line against the wall. Bedrooms, hallways and wedding gift lists are where a soft pink floral of this kind tends to land.

The story behind this design
Magnolia petals are painted thick and waxy, the way they actually are, with the pink concentrated at the base of each petal and fading almost to white at the tip. Bare dark branches cut across the composition, because a magnolia flowers before its leaves arrive. The background is left pale and unworked. The mood is early spring, cool air and a tree doing something extravagant too soon.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What sizes does the magnolia canvas come in?
A: Eight square sizes are offered, from 6 by 6 inches up to 30 by 30 inches.
Q: How deep is the frame?
A: This canvas is stretched at a 1.5 inch depth, which gives it a deeper profile on the wall.
Q: How does it differ from the DipaliZ poppy canvas?
A: The poppy canvas is stretched at 0.75 inches; this magnolia print is the deeper 1.5 inch stretch, and the artwork is a pale pink magnolia rather than scarlet poppies.
Q: Does the canvas need framing?
A: No. It arrives stretched over its own frame and hangs as it is.
Care
Dust with a dry soft cloth. Keep water, sprays and solvents away from the printed surface. Hang out of direct sunlight and away from bathrooms or kitchens where steam collects, so the canvas stays taut and the colors stay true.
