About This Item
Four different designs come in this DipaliZ cloth napkin set, each one placing flowers at the corners of a 20 by 20 inch soft polyester square. Putting the motif in the corners rather than the center means the flowers survive folding, which is where most printed napkins lose their design. The story behind this design
Corner placement was the constraint the whole set was drawn to. Each of the four designs takes a different flower and lets it grow inward from one or two corners, leaving the middle of the square open. That open center is deliberate: a plate or a bread roll usually sits there, and a pattern underneath it would be wasted. The four share a palette so they read as a set even though no two are the same.
