About This Item
This DipaliZ wall tapestry is printed with an original butterfly design. The tapestry is made from 100% polyester and is intended for indoor use. Eight sizes are offered, from 26 by 36 inches up to 104 by 88 inches, in landscape and portrait formats. Butterflies spread across a large piece of cloth give a sense of motion that a framed print cannot, because the fabric itself moves.

The story behind this design
Butterflies of several species rise across the field at different scales, the nearest ones large enough to show wing veins and the furthest reduced to small dark marks. That change in scale is what creates the depth; there is no painted background at all. Wings carry amber, cobalt and a chalky white, and the whole design reads upward rather than side to side.
