About This Item
These DipaliZ cloth napkins are a set of four square table napkins made from 100% polyester. Each napkin measures 18 by 18 inches and carries the retro muted foliage artwork also used on the matching DipaliZ tablecloth. The set is machine washable and reusable, which is the point of cloth napkins over paper. They suit an autumn table, a dinner party or everyday use where four matching napkins are more useful than one.

The story behind this design
A napkin is the smallest surface in a table setting and it spends most of dinner folded, so the artwork had to work at a quarter of its size. The leaves are scaled up rather than down for that reason: fewer, larger shapes mean a folded napkin still shows a whole leaf instead of a fragment of pattern. The muted palette is shared with the tablecloth so the two read as one setting rather than two prints.
