The story behind this design
Each spoon holds a single spice, and the artwork lets the colours do the identifying: turmeric yellow, chilli red, the grey-green of cardamom, the near-black of cloves. Setting them in a line turns the piece into a colour chart as much as a still life. The mood is warm and orderly, with the granular texture of the spices kept visible at every size.
