The story behind this design
Where the psychedelic Ganesha fills its ground with pattern, this one empties it: the figure sits in real darkness, with a spiral arm of stars curving behind the ears and a scattering of small suns doing the work a halo would usually do. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, and putting him in open space rather than a crowded frame reads as exactly that.
