The story behind this design
A real snowflake has six arms and a fractal habit, and embroidery can carry neither at this size, so the design takes the six-fold symmetry and rebuilds it from flat angular facets instead. The gradient does the rest, shifting tone from the center outward so the emblem reads as dimensional on a flat knit. Keeping it to one small badge on the cuff is what lets the same motif work across twelve very different ground colors.
