The story behind this design

Stripped of a strong ground color, a geometric print has to hold itself up on structure alone, and this one does it by keeping the repeat tight and the shapes small. The effect is closer to a woven pattern than a printed one. Seven per cent spandex sounds like very little until you sit down in a midi dress, at which point it is the whole difference.
