The story behind this design
The repeat is built from triangles and half-diamonds locked together with no gaps, so the eye reads a single surface rather than separate motifs. Color alternates on a rhythm just long enough that the pattern does not become predictable across a whole napkin. It was drawn to survive folding: cut the square anywhere and the fragment still looks composed.
