About This Item
This DipaliZ Christmas mug is white ceramic with a glossy glaze and holds 11 fl oz. A decorated gingerbread house is printed as the center of the design, applied by sublimation so the artwork sits in the glaze rather than on top of it. At 11 fl oz the mug takes a standard coffee, a mug of tea or a hot cocoa. The capacity and the white ceramic base come from this listing's own record.

The story behind this design
A gingerbread house is a building made of food, and the fun of drawing one is deciding how much icing is too much. This one is generous: piped scallops along the roof line, a row of gumdrops down the gable, and a door set slightly off-center so the whole thing looks handmade rather than architectural. The white ceramic is left to stand in for snow around the base, which is why no ground line was drawn under the house at all.
