The story behind this design
Glitch art imitates failure, and the imitation has to be precise or it just looks like a mistake. Here horizontal bands are offset sideways at irregular intervals, and where they shift the color separates into magenta and cyan fringes, exactly as a broken signal splits its channels. The bands are narrow at the top and widen down the case, which gives the whole thing a direction. Black carries everything between the neon.
