The story behind this design
The heart is not a heart shape with flowers laid on top of it; it is built entirely out of them, small roses and sprigs of greenery bending around an empty middle so the names have somewhere to sit. The palette stays in dusty pinks and sage. The empty center is the whole idea of the design, which is why the candle looks unfinished in a catalog photo and finished on a grandmother's windowsill.

Care
Trim the wick to about a quarter of an inch before every burn and stand the jar on a level, heat-resistant surface away from drafts. Let the first burn run long enough for the melted wax to reach the edge of the glass, which helps the candle burn down evenly afterwards. Keep the lit candle within sight and away from children and pets, and stop burning once about half an inch of wax is left in the jar.
