The story behind this design
Where the botanical scarf is drawn, this one is poured. Bands of emerald, jade and pale celadon are swept into long curves that double back on themselves, with the paler tones thinning almost to white at the turns. There is no repeat and no motif, so on the large square the whole pattern becomes one continuous movement from corner to corner.
