Green Neon Wave Swirl
About This Item
The DipaliZ green wave mouse pad is a small rectangular pad printed with a swirling neon green pattern. One size is sold, 9" x 7". A rubber base keeps the pad from sliding across a desk during fast mouse movement. The swirl runs off every edge, so the pattern reads as continuous rather than centered. The size and base are taken from this product's own specification.

The story behind this design
Swirls are hard to print well at small scale, because a curve that bends too tightly turns into noise. This design keeps the radius wide and lets the wave leave the edges instead of closing into a spiral. Neon green on a darker ground gives it the energy the pattern needs; the mood is fast and a little electric.
