The story behind this design
The lettering borrows from 1970s poster type: fat rounded strokes, letters squeezed into a wave, and the whole phrase arched rather than set on a straight line. Neon orange on navy is a deliberately loud pairing and is what makes the print read across a room. There is no ghost drawn anywhere — the pun in the word does the Halloween work.
