DipaliZ Jack o Lanterns Placemat Cotton Halloween Decor

The DipaliZ Jack o Lanterns Placemat is a single dining placemat made from 100% cotton. The artwork is a row of carved jack o lantern faces printed across the mat. It measures 18 inches by 14 inches in one size and is machine washable. It is Halloween table decor built to be used rather than looked at, which is the difference between a cotton placemat and a paper one.

The story behind this design

Carved pumpkins are usually drawn glowing, which is a problem on a placemat because there is no light source on a table at dinner. These faces are drawn flat and graphic instead, in solid orange with black cut-outs, so they read as printed decoration rather than a failed attempt at candlelight. Grouping several across the mat gives a plate somewhere to sit without covering a face.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What size is the jack o lantern placemat?
A: 18 inches by 14 inches, one size.

Q: Is it one placemat or a set?
A: One. This listing is a single placemat, so order one per setting.

Q: What is it made from?
A: 100% cotton, machine washable.

Q: Will it survive a Halloween party?
A: Cotton washes at a normal cycle, which is the practical argument for a fabric placemat over a paper or card one at a party where things get spilled.

Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Iron on a low setting on the reverse if needed.
