About This Item
This DipaliZ t-shirt is a black unisex Halloween tee printed with a design that merges a carved pumpkin and a human skull. The upper half reads as pumpkin rind and stem while the lower half resolves into teeth and jaw, so the two objects share one silhouette. Black is the only shirt color, with sizes S through 2XL. The artwork is printed on the front. It sits in the dark-art corner of the DipaliZ Halloween range rather than the playful one.

The story behind this design
Merging two familiar shapes is harder than drawing either one, so the design hands the top of the form to the pumpkin and the bottom to the skull and lets the eye finish the join. Ridges in the rind are matched to the curve of a cranium so the transition never shows a seam. A bone-white palette against near-black keeps the whole thing legible at arm length.
