The hands and the heart are the same shape here, which is the whole trick of the drawing: the gesture of holding something and the symbol for loving it turn out to be identical. The seedling inside is left deliberately small and unfinished, still growing rather than arrived. Green line work reads warm on Red and almost botanical-plate on White.
