The story behind this design
A festival card has to work in a stack, because nobody sends one. This design leads with the Diwali greeting itself rather than a single ornament, which is what lets twenty-four of them go out to twenty-four different households without feeling like a mail-merge. The matte stock is the other half of that: it takes handwriting without beading, so the written line sits as flat on the card as the printed one.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What size are these cards?
A: Each DipaliZ Diwali greeting card measures 4.25 by 5.5 inches.
Q: Are the cards blank inside?
A: Yes. The inside is blank so you can write your own message.
Q: How many cards come in a pack?
A: Packs of 8, 16 and 24 cards are offered.
Q: Are envelopes included?
A: Yes. Size-matching white envelopes come with the cards.
Q: Is the finish matte or glossy?
A: The cards have a matte finish, which takes pen ink more readily than a glossy surface.
Care
Keep the cards flat and dry until you write them. Write with a ballpoint or gel pen and give the ink a moment to set, as matte uncoated stock absorbs more slowly than a glossy surface.
