About This Item
This DipaliZ banner carries a jack-o-lantern Halloween design on 15 oz block-out scrim vinyl. The banner is finished matte, so porch lighting does not bounce off the print. Two horizontal sizes are offered, 48 by 36 inches and 72 by 60 inches, and hanging hardware comes with it. Scrim vinyl is a woven-reinforced outdoor banner stock, which is what lets it hang on a rail or fence rather than only indoors. The design suits a front porch, a party room or a shop window through October.

The story behind this design
The carved pumpkin face does the work, drawn large with the cut edges left thick so the grin still reads from across a garden. Warm lantern-light tones glow out from inside the carving against a dark ground, which is the effect a real candlelit pumpkin gives after sunset. The mood is mischievous rather than menacing, the classic doorstep jack-o-lantern rather than a horror-film one.

Care
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Let the banner dry completely before it is put away, and store it rolled so no fold line crosses the pumpkin.
