DipaliZ Christmas Tree Harvest Banner Poly Poplin Canvas

This DipaliZ banner is a printed garden flag and house banner carrying an original harvest scarecrow illustration. The banner is made from 100% durable poly poplin-canvas fabric. Two sizes are offered: a 12 by 18 inch garden size and a 24.5 by 32 inch house size. The artwork is an autumn harvest scene, not a winter or Christmas one, despite what a shopper might expect from the listing name. The banner suits a porch, front garden, allotment gate or a covered outdoor wall through the fall season.

The story behind this design

The scene puts a scarecrow at the centre of a harvest guard duty, surrounded by the crop it is meant to be protecting. The palette runs through straw yellows, field browns and the deep orange of late-season light, which is the range that reads best from a distance on a garden flag. The mood is warm and faintly comic rather than eerie: this is a scarecrow that seems to be enjoying the job.
