The story behind this design
Every heart here keeps its brushstroke: the edges are uneven, the fill does not quite reach the outline, and two of them overlap where the hand did not stop. That looseness is the whole design, because a symmetrical heart reads as a symbol while a painted one reads as something someone made. The back carries the same shapes layered rather than repeated, so the two sides are related without matching.
