About This Item
The DipaliZ Heartfelt Tomato Cutting Board is a rectangular tempered glass cutting board printed with an original tomato design. Two sizes are offered, 8 by 11 inches and 11 by 15 inches. The tomato is drawn as a heart, plump at the shoulders and tapering to a point, with its stem and leaves still attached. The story behind this design
The whole design turns on one small decision: the tomato is shaped like a heart, and nothing else in the picture draws attention to it. Deep reds carry the fruit, with a green stem and a pale ground behind, so the shape is doing the talking. It is the quietest design of the DipaliZ glass board range and the one people tend to buy for someone else.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What size is the DipaliZ Heartfelt Tomato Cutting Board?
A: Two sizes are offered, 8 by 11 inches and 11 by 15 inches, both rectangular.
Q: What is the tomato board made of?
A: Tempered glass, as recorded on this board's own material specification.
Q: Why is the tomato heart shaped?
A: The design draws the tomato as a heart on purpose, so the board reads as a small affectionate gesture as well as a kitchen tool.
Q: Would this work as a wedding or anniversary gift?
A: Yes. The heart-shaped tomato makes it the most sentimental of the DipaliZ glass boards, and it arrives brand new in either of the two rectangular sizes.
Care
Hand wash the board in warm water with mild detergent, then dry it with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads and scouring powders on the print, and let hot glass cool before washing.
