About This Item
This DipaliZ product is a deck of poker playing cards printed with hearts and smileys. Each card measures 2.5" x 3.5" on smooth 300 gsm premium-coated cardstock, semi glossy, on a white base. The deck is a standard poker set. It suits family games, a child learning card games and anyone who finds a plain back dull.

The story behind this design
Hearts already belong on a playing card, so putting them on the back is a small piece of wit: the suit escapes the face and turns into decoration. The smileys keep the whole thing from reading as a Valentine, pulling it towards something more like a sticker sheet. Spacing the two motifs loosely, rather than packing them, is what keeps the back readable and stops the pattern from vibrating in the hand.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What design is on this deck?
A: The card backs carry a hearts and smileys pattern. The product title does not name the design, but the artwork is the hearts and smileys one.
Q: What size are the cards?
A: Standard poker size, 2.5 by 3.5 inches, on a white base.
Q: How is this different from the DipaliZ rainbows, hearts and smileys deck?
A: That deck adds rainbows to the same family of motifs. This one keeps to hearts and smileys alone, so the pattern is simpler and reads calmer.
Q: What stock are the cards printed on?
A: Smooth 300 gsm premium-coated cardstock with a semi glossy finish.
Care
Store the cards in their box away from damp. Let a spilled-on card dry flat rather than wiping it, since coated stock lifts when rubbed wet.
