The story behind this design
Hibiscus flowers are mostly petal and almost no stem, so the composition leans on the leaves for structure: large, deeply veined and overlapping behind the blooms. Coral and hot pink carry the flowers, with a long yellow stigma drawn out of each one. The greens are pushed dark to keep the whole thing reading as shade rather than sun.
