About This Item
The DipaliZ Home Sweet Home Banner is a printed banner in durable poly poplin-canvas. The words sit at the centre with flowers massed around them, worked in warmer tones than a spring garden design would use — rust, amber and deep pink alongside the greens. DipaliZ makes the banner in two sizes, 12 by 18 inches and 24.5 by 32 inches. The banner is supplied without a pole or bracket.

The story behind this design
Home Sweet Home is an old sampler phrase, so this drawing borrows from samplers rather than from garden signage: the lettering is upright and evenly spaced, almost stitched-looking, and the flowers are arranged symmetrically around it instead of scattered. Warming the palette towards rust and amber pulls it away from the spring-green banners it shares a shelf with, and makes it a design that still suits a porch in October.
