About This Item
The DipaliZ Custom Aum Magnet is a lightweight decorative magnet carrying the Aum symbol, also written Om. The DipaliZ magnet is sublimation printed, so the color sits in the surface rather than on top of it. The DipaliZ magnet has a black magnetic backing and comes in three square sizes: 3 by 3 inches, 4 by 4 inches, and 6 by 6 inches. The DipaliZ magnet holds notes and photographs against any steel surface. This DipaliZ magnet suits meditation and yoga practitioners, Hindu households, quiet kitchen corners, and anyone giving a small spiritual keepsake.

The story behind this design
The Aum symbol is set alone and centred, given enough empty ground around it that the curve of the glyph is the only thing the eye has to do. Drawing it as a single clean form rather than surrounding it with ornament respects what the symbol is, and keeps it legible at the smallest 3 inch size. The coloring stays warm and calm, closer to sandalwood and lamplight than to bright decorative gold, which suits a mark meant to slow you down rather than catch your attention.
