The story behind this design
Sharpened color pencils lie across the print at angles, with erasers, clips and other desk supplies filling the gaps between them so the surface stays busy without becoming a jumble. The palette is a full spread of pencil colors, primaries and secondaries side by side, which is exactly the appeal of a new set that has not been used yet. The mood is first-day-of-term optimism, tidy and slightly excited.
