The story behind this design
The joke only works if the dinosaur is drawn as a guest rather than a monster, so the T-Rex here is mid-party, not mid-hunt, and the octopus is handling the instruments. Retro surf colors do the rest of the work: the palette is borrowed from mid-century California travel posters, which is a vocabulary people read instantly as summer rather than as prehistory.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What paper is it printed on?
A: 185 gsm high-gloss poster paper, with a glossy finish.
Q: What sizes can I order?
A: Three vertical sizes: 11.7 by 16.5 inches, 16.5 by 23.4 inches, and 23.4 by 33.1 inches.
Q: Does it come framed?
A: No. The poster ships unframed.
Q: Where is it printed?
A: In the USA.
Q: How should I handle it?
A: Hold it by the edges and keep fingers off the gloss face, which shows marks more readily than a matte paper.
Care
Keep the poster dry and out of direct sunlight. Handle it by the edges, since a gloss surface shows fingerprints. Store flat or rolled in a tube rather than folded.
