The story behind this design

The photograph follows water downhill through bare and turning trees, using the creek as a line that pulls the eye from the bottom of the frame into the woodland behind. Autumn sets the palette: rust and ochre in the leaf litter, grey-brown trunks, and the cold silver of moving water cutting through the middle.
