Petal Garden

About This Item

The DipaliZ Petal Garden throw pillow is a densely patterned botanical cushion for people who like a full, layered look. The DipaliZ Petal Garden throw pillow has a cover made of 100% spun polyester with a concealed zipper, and a polyester insert is included. Petals overlap across the whole cover with very little background left showing, which is what separates a garden bed from a scattered floral. The DipaliZ Petal Garden throw pillow suits a cottage sofa, a garden room or a bed piled with several patterned cushions at once.

The story behind this design

Petal Garden is a maximal composition rather than a scattered one. Blooms are packed in layers, front flowers overlapping the ones behind them, so depth comes from occlusion instead of shading. Greens run through the gaps to hold the arrangement together, and the flower colors are drawn from a broad garden palette instead of a single family. The mood is abundant and a little wild, the look of a border in full July growth.
