About This Item
The DipaliZ Colorful Petals throw pillow is a printed accent cushion sized for a sofa, daybed or window seat. The DipaliZ Colorful Petals throw pillow has a cover made of 100% spun polyester with a concealed zipper, and a polyester insert is included in the box. The Colorful Petals artwork sweeps individual petals into a fanned arc, so the design has a clear direction across the face of the cover instead of an even repeat. The DipaliZ Colorful Petals throw pillow suits a room that already has plain upholstery and needs one piece to carry the color.

The story behind this design
Colorful Petals is built from single petals rather than whole flowers, laid out so they open like the blades of a hand fan. Warm reds and oranges sit at the dense end of the arc and cool into pinks and violets as the petals spread apart, which gives the cover a gradient without using a flat wash of color. The effect is graphic and a little kinetic, and it reads well from across a room where a fine botanical print would disappear.
