The story behind this design
A printed towel has a conflict built into it: ink sits best on a smooth synthetic face, and water is absorbed best by cotton loops. This blank solves it by doing one on each side, and the design is drawn for the printed face accordingly, with large open flowers rather than fine detail, because a towel is a surface that gets folded, dragged and sat on rather than looked at flat.
