About This Item
The DipaliZ Floral Lumbar Pillow in the decorative colourway is a rectangular cushion measuring 20 x 14 inches. The spun polyester cover is printed on both faces and the polyester insert lifts out through a concealed zipper. This is the fullest of the DipaliZ floral lumbar prints, with the pattern running edge to edge rather than sitting on open ground. The fabric is mildew resistant, so the cushion suits a conservatory or covered outdoor seating as well as a bedroom. Cover and insert are supplied together.

The story behind this design
Layered blooms and trailing foliage are drawn by hand and packed close, so leaves pass behind petals and the ground barely shows through. The line is fluid and slightly uneven, the way a sketchbook study is, and the flowers vary in size instead of repeating on a strict tile. The effect is generous and a little romantic, closer to a garden border than to a tidy repeat pattern.
