DipaliZ Pink Flower Placemat Double Sided Cotton Fabric

The DipaliZ Pink Flower placemat is a single cotton placemat measuring 18 by 14 inches. Pink flowers are printed across a deep navy blue ground, which is the darkest base in the DipaliZ placemat range. The mat is 100% cotton, so it washes rather than wipes out. One mat is supplied per order. This placemat suits an evening table, a dark wood surface, or anyone who wants floral without pastel.

The story behind this design

The navy ground does the work here: it drops the background back so the pink petals read almost as though lit from above. The flowers are spaced further apart than on the pale-ground mats in this range, which keeps the dark base visible as a colour in its own right rather than as a gap. The mood is evening rather than morning, and it is the one mat in the set that suits candlelight.
