Autumn Tree Yellow Leaves
About This Item
The DipaliZ Autumn Tree Matte Canvas is a horizontal landscape piece showing a single large tree in full yellow autumn leaf. The canvas is matte-finished and set in a black pine wood frame with a 1.25 inch depth, and hanging hardware is included. Seven horizontal sizes run from 12 by 9 inches to 32 by 24 inches, so the same image works as a small shelf piece or as the anchor of a wall. The matte surface suppresses glare, which suits a room with strong window light.

The story behind this design
A single broad tree fills most of the frame, its canopy carrying every stage of the turn from green through to deep gold. The ground beneath is scattered with fallen leaves in the same range, so color reads top to bottom rather than sitting in a band. Scale is the striking part of this piece: the tree is drawn large enough to dominate its landscape, which lends the scene a quiet, monumental stillness.
