About This Item
The DipaliZ Pink Abstract Lumbar Pillow is a rectangular cushion measuring 20 x 14 inches. The spun polyester cover carries the pink and gray artwork on both faces, and a concealed zipper releases the polyester insert for washing. This is the softest-toned cushion in the DipaliZ lumbar range, which makes it the one that works on a pale linen sofa or a bedroom chair. The fabric is mildew resistant, so a sunroom or covered porch is fair game too. Cover and insert are supplied together.

The story behind this design
Rounded shapes in blush and dove gray overlap at soft edges, with a few thin darker lines threading between them to give the composition some structure. Nothing has a hard boundary, and the transitions between the two hues are gradual rather than stepped. The result sits closer to a watercolor wash than to a graphic print, which is why it reads as restful instead of decorative.
