About This Item
The DipaliZ Birthday Cake and Candle Cards are folded birthday cards printed on matte, uncoated card stock. The front carries an original DipaliZ illustration of a layered cake topped with a lit candle. Each card measures 4.25 x 5.5 inches folded and comes with a matching envelope. No age or number is printed anywhere on the card, so one pack covers every birthday in a household or an office. Packs are sold in quantities of 8, 16 and 24, and the interior stays blank for a handwritten greeting.

The story behind this design
A single tall slice of cake sits centre-front, drawn in cream and berry pink with a candle burning above it and a few confetti marks scattered around. The linework is loose and slightly wobbly, closer to a sketchbook than to clip art. It reads as cheerful without tipping into children-only territory, which is why the same card works for a five-year-old and a fiftieth.
