The story behind this design
Three flowers carry this design: a wide open magnolia, a papery poppy and a full garden rose, painted with soft edges so the petals seem to fade into the page. The palette runs from blush pink through cream to a warm sand beige, with no hard outlines anywhere. The effect is gentle and slightly nostalgic, the sort of card that reads as considered whether it carries congratulations or condolences.
