About This Item
This DipaliZ pink flowers coaster is a hardboard drink coaster finished with a genuine cork backing. The coaster is printed with pink blossoms on a warm brown ground under a high-gloss coating that is heat-resistant and water-repellent, and the corners are rounded. This DipaliZ coaster is made to sit on wooden dining tables and desks without fighting the grain underneath. This coaster suits minimalist interiors, plant lovers and anyone who finds white-ground florals too stark for a warm room.

The story behind this design
Putting the blossoms on brown instead of white changes everything about how the pink behaves: the petals warm up, the contrast softens, and the whole coaster settles into a wooden table rather than sitting on top of it. Only a few stems are used, spaced far apart with a lot of brown left bare between them, which is where the minimalist tag earns itself. The result feels closer to a dried arrangement than to a spring bouquet.
