About This Item
The DipaliZ Purple Lilacs framed horizontal poster is a close-up botanical print supplied ready to hang. The image is printed on LexJet premium matte poster paper, set behind a lightweight acrylic cover and finished in a wood frame available in black, walnut or white. Three horizontal sizes are offered: 14 by 11 inches, 16 by 12 inches and 20 by 16 inches. The matte surface keeps reflections down, which suits a hallway or a bedroom wall that catches window light.

The story behind this design
The photograph moves in close on a lilac panicle in full spring bloom, so the tiny four-petalled florets read individually rather than as a mass of colour. The palette runs from pale mauve at the tips to a deeper violet in the shadowed centre, with green leaves kept soft and out of focus behind. The matte paper suits the subject, holding the powdery quality of lilac petals that a gloss surface would sharpen away.
