The story behind this design
The globe sits at the centre with trees rising from it, so the planet and the forest read as one shape rather than two symbols placed side by side. Greens and blues carry almost all of the colour, which gives the image a hopeful rather than alarmed tone. The message is stated plainly and briefly, in the register of a classroom poster that expects to be read every day for a year.
