The story behind this design
The artwork treats the forest as a renewable system rather than scenery, with standing timber and new growth sharing the frame in deep and light greens. The vertical format suits the subject exactly, since trees are the one thing that always want more height than width. Matte canvas holds the darker greens without shine, so the print keeps its depth even on a wall opposite a window.
